Very different than the other book I just read by another hotshot. (Both were random choices from the new bookshelf at the library.) This one is less memoir and more the devastation of our fire suppression policies and mistreatment of indigenous peoples. It also did a better job of a filler picture of how tough being an hotshot is. Although interesting and informative, at times I wished it was moving faster.
