If only they'd haunt the White House.

So far, the White House hasn't been mentioned. I'm sure if Orwell were alive today, he'd have some commentary on our administration. I'd say he had a healthy skepticism of all those in power regardless if they were on the left or the right. This is part of a longer project that I have to re-read Orwell's classics as well as his lesser known writings.

This particular book is slow reading for me because I've been jotting down so many notes on Orwell's other works. It's turning out to be a great resource. And it has a connection to the last book I read, "A Long Winter," in that Orwell eventually joined the Spanish Civil War. A great coincidence as I had no idea one book was going to connect to the other.
