Although I was very upset with the “profound act of forgiveness” ending in the first volume. I haven’t seen anyone else dissect a comic book character in such an insightful way, about eight months into my comic reading journey at least. Two issues into this volume I rather enjoy what themes they’re continuing with the commodification of the wonder woman and certain power dynamics.
