Interesting midpoint twist which I feel like is told in the synopsis? I hate when they do that.

This is making me think of how people live in poverty in other countries and yes some of them have some modern conveniences but some of them don’t. Like George is only thinking of his version of the world…maybe that’s the point? But maybe if George got stuck in rural Latin America in 2026 he would be feeling similar things? But also people still have lives and we’ve touched on that but not deeply I think.

Melancholy at times but not in a good way

This is waaaayy different than I thought it would be but it’s really interesting and I am hurting my eyes bc I can’t stop reading this on my phone. Kind of dark and sad but I want to know what happens.
