well. it's my own dang fault for picking up this book and thinking everything would be okay even though Kristoff is a self-proclaimed "non believer in happy endings."

this book is actually just high stakes emotional drama and then really sad things happen that u wouldn’t even expect and we must carry on 😓

my statement still holds tho and I really really just don’t trust ANYONE.

Maryn specifically is on my list now

bruh I do not trust ANYONE anymore

except maybe Dior bc she's kept in the dark about everything even though she's the only one who can save them

nervous about Celene and Maryn's true intentions, nervous in the ways Gabriel's heart is getting pulled, nervous about friends and lovers BETRAYING EACH OTHER OVER AND OVER AGAIN

ohhhh there’s some weird shit going on at Leon… maybe it’s that dang Fool

Also: what gets me about these books is that they’re so BROODY. Good, to be sure, but it’s almost comical at times how much of a brood Gabriel is. But that’s part of the allure of these, part of the feeling.

Also: my heart bleeds for Aaron and I want Lachlan to kiss a girl!!! Ahhhh these boys
