Seeing yourself in glimpses of Waldo is harrowing, at least for me. The situations do not have to be identical to be shared. I don't particularly enjoy recognizing things I have felt and done when my brain was less developed. Hell... shit I still do now if I'm being honest. All I hope for her is that this book ends in the only way it can... with some honest self-reflection.
