I've reread this book so many times I probably have a more vivid imagery of Alessa's room than Emily Thiede herself

I don't know why but this line is just so sweet to me.

I once saw someone ask Emily Thiede in the Ask the Author thing on Goodreads if writing Alessa with the little ADHD characteristics was intentional and honestly with the very little I know about those characteristics/symptoms I can see it
