Reading this during a readathon and while I think his writing is super accessible, I think some of his interactions with tuberculosis patients comes across as insensitive - something about this specific interaction/tried relatability of not being able to finish medication. Definitely layers to it though because mental health is ofc as important as physical - not saying that.

Katie H And then the next page he's talking about a TB patient in Haiti who has to take a 2 hr bus ride to get a (limited, due to stock) dose of medication every day, putting him out of work. Maybe it's more of a "read the room" situation but hm.
