The book started out slow for me, since I really didn’t have much attachment or liking towards Jude or Vida, but during the scene of the Red I was cheering Ruby on and sucked into the story. Ugh- so good. Bracken also managed to pull together another storyline that’s unique and keeps you on the edge of your seat!
