Read "Dentist." Its placement in the anthology is perfect. One of this collection's best, full of depth and contradiction. A perfect climax.

Read "Vagabond in France and Belgium." Another superb story, albeit very typical for Bolaño. Still, the narrator's relationship with M is enigmatic, his search is compelling and well-defined, and the final scene is particularly touching.
