For the first 2/3 of the book this felt like it was setting up the background, abs that the actual story hasn’t started, but it is becoming clear that this is sort of… it? Like “how will the fmc overcome her antipathy towards the man she once loved and still thinks is hot, when there is no apparent reason for her current attitude?” Like… why tho. Also the sex scenes make me want to roll my eyes
