This feels hard to read because, even though the stakes have risen out of the damn stratosphere, it still feels so grounded and real emotionally. I love it, but it's very taxing on me mentally.

You know the world building has gotten too complicated when the author whips out the diagrams.
Loving the intimate character moments, as always.
