I read negative reviews of this book and want to scream. DON'T YOU UNDERSTAND THAT THIS IS REAL? This is a real love story. You can deny it, run from it, say that love is not like this -- that it's easy and faultless -- but your expectations will rob you of your joy. It's an inescapable reality of life, and perhaps that's what makes it so beautiful; you either relate to the story or you lie to yourself.
