I'm enjoying Parker and Victoria's courtship and I love Kenton and Downes. They are remarkable characters. I am struggling a bit with some of the dialogue. There are "" when no one is talking or they're left out when someone is and I can't figure out if it's a thought or something verbalised. Still reading, but it is a bit distracting.

Parker's grandmother had interesting ideas about sex. I mean I get it for trying to keep a 17 year old boy from being promiscuous, but still, her words felt very doom and gloom overall. I wonder what Parker would have been like without those words to "wisdom."
