okay i dont know he’s like really rought with her and it’s super like unnapealing and uncomfortable :( even if she’s “enjoying it” it’s like eugh. i feel like we could’ve made him broody and an asshole without him essentially physically assaulting her multiple times. honestly i just don’t think i’m built for this dark romance stuff. but also even 100/400-ish pages in the book barely has begun so bro

Okay so I was lowkey already getting red flags when the book said he was native american but kept describing him as this “looming and rough mountain man” because it felt like microagressions and fetishizing then I get hit with this line. “As it was, she averted her face and slipped past him, turning sideways so she didn’t touch him since he was standing in the doorway like an Indian chief. ” WHAT?

1/4 of the book through and they’ve already done yhe deed like a gajillion times with minimal build up. Where is the angst I was promised bro, I don’t know anything about them except she’s fitting the stereotypical y/n trope and he’s the rags to riches ceo. The FMC has some funny and relatable moments but the guy…tbh the only thing I like about him is that he’s half Native American, that’s nice.
