Twenty years ago, my parents took my sis and me to a Christian book store. We browsed and I mentioned this book looked interesting.
Fast forward to my birthday, I unwrapped this book. She had gone back with my dad to buy it with her own money (at eight years old in the 2000s, $18.99 was a LOT).
So much has changed since then. And though I never ended up reading it, I’m giving it a shot now.
