Listening to the audiobook - finished the first story “His Black Tongue” and it was very strong in the beginning - but the ending…. I was very invested because the audio production is AMAZING. But some of the plot points were so silly/impossible. ending also felt cheap?

This includes two of his short stories as well - so I’ll be listening to those next but not logging them separately bc they’re so short
