i couldn’t even be bothered to spend even more energy on this ranting like it deserves
bc THERE WAS A LOT OF FUCKING BULLSHIT.

i said i wasn’t going to read anymore after this book
but ughhh

if the next one is already out i might quickly breeze through that

otherwise i wouldnt have bothered

positive thing i can say about this experience

it’s just made me realize i kind of want to make another list for things that i wouldnt want potential readers to say about my books in the future

like characters/story details being “forgettable”
unremarkable, mediocre
etc

it’s one of those things that i would say is one of the worst insults/remarks/critiques i can give a book

i’d be so ashamed and embarrassed if someone said this to me

but 🤷🏻‍♀️
this authors writing is abysmally tragic

it’s not good enough for me to binge read
i often pause and do other shit
for every book by this author i think
not just this one

so it gets wiped from my memory banks even faster

i def hated this book through about eighty percent of it
and the ending was not amazing
or better
but not as terrible as what led up to it

so i feel meh

i could’ve sworn ive read this before ???

i can’t recall if it was a preview of the first chapter only or the whole book 🤷🏻‍♀️

or
a diff book with similar plot and scenes

i haven’t gone into detail to rant about all the shit writing in this series so far

suffice to say
it’s just been shit writing after shit writing

not enough plot and development

prob why none from this series
maybe even this author
will reach more than two stars

so this was the one with the blurb i was most interested in
and i’m finally here

i just know based on the next books blurb that i won’t be reading the book
it seems so fucking boring

and i’m already dreading this one
the misunderstandings plot 😒

i’m hoping this isnt nearly four hundred pages like the previous book
at least that one was tolerable

it just dragged at the end.
