They all roam around the house of Harfang to find a way out. As they were looking, they found a cook book on how to cook marshwiggles and men. Once they saw that they escaped they went into a hole that made them all slid down about a mile with stones piled up around them.

They find out that they're in the ruined city and Jill has forgotten about the signs because her and scrub were to exited to go to Harfang. They make a plan to escape the castle so they can find a way to go under the city, where prince Rilian is.

So far they enter Harfang and puddleglum is offered a drink he usually drinks but bigger. He thinks they're tricking him, but he's just talking silly from all the drinks he had. They get sent to their rooms and Jill realize she has forgotten the signs.

Pole falls off a legend of so,e sort and forgets the signs that Aslan told her. They take a rest and see the giants home "Harfang"

Puddleglum, scrub and pole are trying to cross the stream, until they come across an old bridge. They meet strangers. One of them was a knight. The other one was a lady on a horse with a green dress. She explains that the city is a great place. Pole and scubb start to get excited, but puddleglum doesn't trust the strangers.

Pummleglum (the marshwiggle) scrub (eaustace) and Jill are headed to the ruined city where they must past the giants moore. Scrub and Jill are terrified of the giants but pummleglum said all we need to do is pretend we don't see them and keep walking, but don't run!
