prompted after a developing addiction to red dead redemption, ten years after hating it in secondary school, i have reread of mice and men. i am still not sure if its the right pick for a group of year 7s, but its great to finally be able to appreciate the book: steinbeck's writing is perfect. the story is very bleak, as i remembered, but i enjoyed it regardless, and am eager for more steinbeck. on to the next..
