This book is miserable. So miserable, in fact, I looked the author up thinking “what’s their deal!” and came to find out that Riley is a pseudonym. This writer’s name is TODD. Some men can write. Some men can write horror. Then, other men write like Todd. I am close to giving up on this pursuit. Back and forth, dizzying, no stakes writing. The murderer! The rhyme! Do I want to know? I do! Wait—the Rhyme!
