The story is clearly inspired by Tangled/Rapunzel and maybe Beauty and the Beast as well. It’s a slow start, but because of this, it gives a good foundation to the main character and the love is more believable (I find a lot of books tend to rush the love plot). I could have done with far less of Bahira’s POV and she’s a terrible scientist.
