Reading this book is like being held by an older sister, and maybe its because of shared memories of the same places and states of mind as the author. Her coming of age in the Western District, her trips to David Trench, living in Tai Ping Shan. The writing is deeply visual and descriptive. I look forward to every new page I turn.
