It’s okay so far. Definitely a hint of “not like other girls” and also a vibe of “groomed by an alt older guy” even though they’re both in college I think? I also have a feeling this is another fae story where the male protag is many times the age of the female protag and it’s giving me the ick. There’s such a large power imbalance when that’s the case but readers and writers don’t seem to care.

This makes me so depressed. Neither is good for her. The one is around 21 and the other is a hundreds of years old fae who got her drunk and wants to use her. The 21 year old at least isn’t pushing her to anything and actually cares but this all just makes me so upset. She needs to get out and I know that’s not what’s gonna happen. My only hope is she goes with the human and that he’s actually a good person.
