two or three stars

three seems a bit much bc this showed me barely anything

neither anything objectionable or rant worthy
but also nothing much to praise

there’s barely anything 😭

this was kind of a letdown bc it started off so well
mostly

it almost feels like i got the wrong book???

like is this supposed to be so fucking short ??

i assume book two will be more of the same shit

the blurbs are disappointingly misleading

i wanted a story to dive into

and what i’m getting so far has been just glimpses

bleh

surprisingly
and not altogether offensively

the third and last couple is a human man
mysterious pov
he seeks out another person standing alone
a nepenthe
the only one out of the bunch of them thats not participating in the meet and greets

there’s alot of unsaid hidden meanings and yet also some blatant remarks…

anyways
they fuck

the end
and i’m bored and feel like ive been left hanging

the second couple
appointed leader of the surviving humans
i forget her name already
she’s brave and bold and chooses what’s his name
the magistrand(?)

more details about how dirty and taboo it is for the latters race to suck and put anything of theirs into mouths

this too i thought would be more of their story
but it ends again
after one fuck

i’m yawning a bit mentally by now but still there

three very quick and very short stories with three/six diff people

the first
a dying human woman and the nepenthe who found her
leader of his ppl(?)
he fucked her barely conscious form senseless

🤷🏻‍♀️ suffice to say
i thought this would be a book

and i actually wanted a full on story following this first couple

“the sparest dollop of flesh”
to describe a clit
is fucking hilarious
