Funny, Rosemarie: H.L. Mencken once called Spencer's THE FAERIE QUEEN "the most boring book ever written". But, to be fair, he said that about all of Dostovesky's novels too.

I've read The Faerie Queen. The first two books are fine, but the third book was not nearly as good.
I am a huge fan of Dostoevsky.
