Did not finish. I loved her book Dark Matter but this had none of the promised dark and gothic atmosphere on the cover. I got about half way through and was just so bored I had to give up. I knew it wasn’t grabbing me as usually I read every night and I hadn’t for the past few, not wanting to pick it up. I know she wrote children’s books and this was slightly going back to that genre for me. Shame
