I read The Mysterious Affair at Styles very long ago. Thought it was good but not great, and rather put me off Agatha Christie - until now, in fact. Perhaps it was age, how I was feeling when I picked it up, or whatever. Perhaps that first effort wasn't so terrific.

The start of TMORA is a different kettle of fish. Definitely engrossed.
