Dude. He lets his eight year old daughter eat two, TWO, slices of pecan pie FOR BREAKFAST on a SCHOOL DAY! He then RUNS out at NINE PM to Cafe du Monde to get her beignets because SHE CANT WAIT until the next day!! He’s creating a diabetic spoiled monster. It’s not cute or good parenting. I may need to DNF this book if it gets any worse.

He is being so highly inappropriate right now I can’t even. Yes, the MC h is enjoying it, but if she didn’t? He would 100% be called skeevy and have an EEO slapped on him so fast his head would spin. He still should. I’ll give it a little more, but I’m sensing a DNF in my future.
