Kelseir, on Vin's new haircut that is supposed to make her more "ladylike," and this is a direct quote -- "The haircut really was good. However, his compliments had an ulterior motive. He suspected that Vin had spent far too much of her life being told she was worthless. Perhaps if she had a bit more self-confidence, she wouldn't try to hide so much." SHE IS 16 YEARS OLD AHHHHHHHHHHHH

Kelseir is an insufferable know-it-all acting as the author's self-insert that is talking AT us instead of WITH us and it is grating on my nerves. 25% and nothing has happened.
