I didn’t realize what this book was going to be about when I started it, nor how hard it was going to be to read. Despite the humor, and the strong writing, this book brought up all the feelings and trauma I wasn’t prepared to deal with on this particular evening. Don’t get me wrong, these are important topics and this book was well done, I just wasn’t ready for it when I picked it up.
