Devlin chats with a young girl on the bus, even with the girl giving him a fearless bracelet. After that, Devlin chats with the girl about whom he's texting, how his apology hasn't been working. From there, Devlin explains that the girl's name is Lexi (short for Alexandra), and his is Devlin.

Devlin leaves a message over towards Lexi once again, stating the whole Broken Spoke incident, and that after everything, all he wants to do is be straight and talk things through with her. Sunday arrives and so does Devlin's birthday, and he gets text from his Dad and other siblings (Austin and his kids, Mabel). Devlin goes to the excursion at Camp Lemonade.

Devlin thinks about how Bob stole his ideas, blamed him for his mistakes, use shady tactics to poach his clients, and even get with McKenna Hotchkiss, the boss's daughter, Devlin's ex, whom he hooked up with. After that, Hotchkiss tells Devlin that he has at the last two weeks. Devlin encounters Bob, and then converses with Lexi on the phone and wants to apologize.

Devlin's boss, Harvey B. Hotchkiss, isn't too happy with him due to the fact that they (Snowberry Lodge) isn't selling, and they need to from a financial standpoint. Harvey wants to up the offer but Devlin disagrees since Lexi doesn't want to let the whole thing go. Harvey is frustrated with it, and tells Devlin he has two weeks or else he'll give the account to Bob Oliver instead.

Lexi talks over to her Gran, and her Gran tells her about Quentin, the accountant from Snowberry Lodge, and how he said for her to cancel existing reservations on November first. Lexi doesn't want that to happen, and she needs more time. Her Gran states that if ahe doesn't have the funds by the end of said month, then she'll take Quentin's advice and agree to Black Diamond's offer.

Lexi tells Devlin that she needs to find another buyer, and then goes to talk with Gran.

Lexi talks over to Winnie about the whole Devlin situation that went down, still notes that he's hot and her grandmother handed her phone number over to him.

Devlin explains to Lexi how he's trying to form a deal that's good for the both of them, and also adds how the resort is going under. But, Lexi talks about how much the place means to her, and Devlin states how she can't save it without some sort of miracle or marriage. They continue talking and Devlin states how she can't save the place, and Lexi believes that she can.

Devlin goes over to see Lexi and wonders if they could talk and Lexi isn't interested after what happened, and he explains how her grandmother wants her to be happy.

Devlin thinks about the resort while going over to see Lexi at her condominium place. He notes how nice and peaceful it is and thinks of the possible changes. Then he thinks back to getting the deal closed regarding Black Diamond Resorts and get his promotion, a an upgrade towards his car, watch, amongst other things.
