the ironic/stupid thing about this book is the Irish have the saying "the gift of the gab" so you'd think the way sloane talks wouldn't really confuse them so much.
I'm not entirely sure sloane is actually charming anyone, which is confusing for me because sloane was charming, funny and badass as a side character which is why I was so excited to know she is the main character here. she is just giving me the ick now.
