also i am thus far not super keen on the fact that the main conflict is clearly going to stem from the protagonist lying about her supportive family being transphobic. i think this is where my problem lies with contemporary romance as a genre sometimes as the conflict/problem often is something trivial. anyways i will keep at this because im curious and like the writing style enough and it is very readable.

some lines in here have made me cringe a little bit i think a rom com without cringe is sacrilegious anyways
