As a Southern, I take umbrage with the h's long praise of General Sherman. I'm from Atlanta and I'd say he definitely left an impression on my community. ;) The Native Americans aren't fond of him either. Sherman deliberately destroyed their primary food source by paying the hunters to kill all the buffalo. He was a diabolical genius but not someone to admire. - sorry for history rant

At least you know your history. You would be surprised how many people don’t know the proper history of their country.

It really is scary when they don't know basic history like when our nation declared it's independence. They celebrate every 4th of July and some people still don't know. Generation alpha can't even read. It's frightening
