I don't think I'll read the second book because of the predictable and cringe-ass writing, but I'll see it through to the end for completionist's sake.

Writing is kinda juvenile and some things are very predictable, but the plot and characters are pretty interesting. And I like the idea of using poetry as a silent protest method (even though those poetry bits don't grab me lol). Makes me think of old-time Russia with poets like Puschkin and Gogol.
