Does anyone have any tips for starting a YouTube channel? I want to (if I can convince my parents to let me) but I really don’t know how it works. I don’t want to buy any special equipment really, just film on my phone if possible (it actually has a rlly good camera) But I would post content about books, ballet, and karate? Does that sound interesting?

You don’t have to buy equitment! i didn’t!I love the idea for ballet! i’ve wanted to do a live stream on my other account during my ballet classes but then yt made a certain rule about it and now I can’t.For the tips: work on making your book transitions clean and come up with a title for the video that is different from the words in the video so that way it’s different. make your videos catchy and if your writing a book (haven’t read your bio so idk if you are) you could do the “how im writing a book at ___ (age)” also last one is to do book memes one of my videos that was a book meme had 11k views so those are always good. Once you start tell me the handle and I’ll subsribe!
Oooo I'd be interested about the karate. I used to do Taekwondo. :D And books!
Also I have a rabbitry youtube channel and just use my phone to film.. I think you more of need lots of equipment if you want to start being a youtuber as a career.
