Lowkey if I was Adrien I would kill Creighton.
And if I was Annika I would never forgive Creighton.

Lowkey I hate where this book is going. Like Creighton needs to let go of everything or just let go of her. He’s basically raping her on an island- does she enjoy some of it? Yes. But she’s away from friends and family. I want Annika to completely break down so Creighton can realize how wrong he is.

So we all know this is going to be resolved and they’ll live happily ever after afterwards.. but like… HOW?!
Like how could Crichton forgive Annika for shooting her and how can she forgive him for wanting revenge?
And like sure they have a connection and love each other but how? They’ve been together a few months? Share the same kinks? She sees his darkness simply because it’s a dark romance book.

I don’t blame Papa for protecting her, but maybe I blame them for giving birth to me, for letting me be in this world where the only person I wanted with my heart and soul is impossible to have.
And is fighting for his life because of me.

So I’m going to cry on a regular Tuesday morning.
Annika shot Creighton because she thought he would hurt her brother, Jeremy, and he almost died and is now in the ICU and everyone hated Annika now and she hates herself.
Lowkey I don’t know how this is going to be resolved. Like how is Creighton going to forgive her or her parents?
