Orwell's essay "Bookshop Memories" makes me want to work in a library or a bookstore, at least for a brief period of time.

Also, in "Shooting an Elephant" Orwell put about a dozen bullets into a mad elephant just so he could impress the native Burmese😭

The first essay, "Why I Write" is so so good. Must read for anyone who aspires to be a writer.
