The catalyst in this book is that our main character Benny follows this troupe and helps them in capturing what ever he made this glass enclosure for. Which happens to me a mermaid which leads to him trying to continue on with his life after; But, he keeps getting flash backs to what the second mermaid said before they were shot which was"salvalo"

Right now the main character Benny had built this giant tank for a carnival and he was invited to go catch what will be put into it. But so far the author has been very discrete about what they will be putting into the tank and that it is a dangerous job to go get the inhabitant.
