Hands down one of my fav books!! I actually didn’t know if I would enjoy Joey’s story as much as I enjoyed Shannon and Johnny’s, but this was so much better. It was so heartbreaking to read how little he thought of himself and the consistent struggle he went through. It was beautiful to read how much he and Aoife clearly loved each other and were like that since the first day of school, despite their hurdles.
