I’m probably gonna DNF now. I don’t even want to keep reading to page 50. This already feels like a chore and definitely not the first book I want to start after getting out of my reading slump. It’s about to put me into another one 🤦🏻‍♀️

Had high hopes for the mmc because he was being sweet and supportive for Tillie until he was reading her hand and just leaned in to kiss her?? Mind you they just met a couple hours ago… And apparently he’s not some quiet, mysterious, gentle mmc. He’s some successful insta meditation guru after his toxic manic pixie dream girl left him at 19.

This girl really said she didn’t want to block her ex-fiance (who was spamming her phone 5 months later) because she thought it felt “too mean” BYE. 😒

The side characters have way too much background info that just reads as fluff :/ none are personally appealing
