Read the abridged back in middle school but finally started my journey with the full text last night. Meant to stop for the night after the arrest, then after Edmond arrived in prison, then after he’d met the Abbe, ultimately couldn’t put it down until Edmond had escaped Chateau D’if and only then because of the time.
