Ugghhhh, what is wrong with me? Why am I feeling any kind of “loyalty” to the first asshole? Just because he’s the devil you know doesn’t make him better than the new guy, or give any reason for loyalty. Is it just because you internally accepted that you’d be unhappy in this life/marriage? Who cares if the princeling was starting to warm to you?! He’s still a dick even if you like playing with him.
