This is a five star book but, for me personally, not a five star read. It’s an amazing story with so many fascinating characters and themes yet I found myself wanting it to be over. I guess it became too dense and meandering to really enjoy it. I know only a special, rare talent could write this book and it’s like nothing I’ve read. However, at 500 pages in, I just wanted it to end.
