This was a simple yet unique idea! During the civil war zombies have arisen and so now the world is changed as have a new enemy.

We follow Jane, a Black woman, who is very bold for the time. She was sent to a boarding school to be trained to be a killer for these zombies. I enjoyed our MC and these side characters and this was an interesting alternative history. That felt very realistic and I enjoyed that.
