A little hard to follow towards the end of the chapter.

Too many new people and context behind them, it was a little distracting from Odette’s story.

Nonetheless, I’m still intrigued to read about other interesting people during this era. There’s way more to it than I thought!

I love how enticing this is.

I feel like I’m right there with her.

I also am in love with how much history I’m picking up. Great read so far…

Riveting introduction.

This is my second time reading this and although I never made it more than halfway through, I forgot how tense the early stages of this book felt.
