I find it interesting how this is supposedly one of the greatest romance classics of all time but the story is being delivered by a housekeeper to the narrator who is new to the Heights. It feels like a game of Chinese Whispers where I feel as though I’m missing important details or doubting the facts of some events. Overall, constantly wanting more… but maybe that’s why it’s so intriguing?
