This book is interesting as I completely identify with the female main character, and yet she also seems so immature. It makes me wonder how clueless I was when I was eighteen too 😬.

My high school creative writing teacher always emphasized the importance of a good first line of a book. So, with a first line like this: “It was Easter morning when the devil sat in the back pew of my dad’s church.”… something tells me this is going to be quite the book.
