Halfway through, and dare I say it, I think I'm starting to hit a comfortable rhythm. The constant namedropping of lore dumps no longer trips me up in a "wait, what?" way. Now I go "hmm, cool" and push on with the narrative. Y'know, like someone's SUPPOSED to when they read a novel.

I think I am in danger of failing my self-imposed challenge.

I survived the "Dramatis Personae" roll call and the Prologue. Off to a good start!
